On the sixth episode of Spotlight on Stories, I was happy to sit down with Common Greens executive director Marcie Todd, who manages the Clintonville Farmers Market, which is open every Saturday from April 12-November 18. Todd has been associated with agriculture for much of her life and has a focus on urban agriculture, including ownership of Freshtown Farm, right here in Columbus.

For the fifth episode of Spotlight on Stories, we sit down with Ohio State athletics broadcaster Matt Andrews to talk about his life, career and the upcoming season of Ohio State football. Andrews is the sideline reporter for Ohio State football's radio broadcasts on 97.1 The FAN.

It is an exciting time at Thomas Worthington High School. Phase I of the school's complete rebuild is well underway and principal Pete Scully sat down with Spotlight on Stories to discuss upcoming construction plans and what it's like to live and work in a construction zone.

Scully reports that Phase II will begin following the 2023-24 school year and Phase III, the final phase, is to see the building completed in August of 2026 and exterior work completed by December of 2026.

On the third edition of Spotlight on Stories, we are joined by Bishop Watterson football coach Brian Kennedy. Kennedy guided the Eagles to a 12-2 record last season and an appearance in a Division III regional final.

For our second edition we go behind the curtain with the founder of the Wizard of Za. We find out how he started a veritable speakeasy for pizza during the middle of an international pandemic and dig deep into the ingredients that made his pizza something folks literally waited months to try. The first edition of Spotlight on Stories features an interview with Clintonville Spotlight and Worthington Spotlight founder Cliff Wiltshire.

Cliff takes us from his days growing up in Connecticut, through his college years at Muskingum College, and his move to Columbus to begin working in the newspaper business.

We talk about local journalism and the place it has in a community.
