  • JD Deckard - LFCMT
This episode of the podcast is with JD Deckard. JD is the founder of LFCMT, a group of dedicated fans of Liverpool Football Club that gather in Murfreesboro, TN to watch every match they play. They are passionate not only about "upping the reds" and cheering on their beloved football team they also are passionate about coming together to support really amazing causes in their local community! With the return of Premiere League happening tomorrow we felt it fitting to release this episode with JD explaining the story and overall mission of LFCMT. The sense of community and acceptance that this group displays every single time Liverpool plays is truly something special. From personal experience the atmosphere and true fandom that happens at Party Fowl in Murfreesboro, TN is truly unmatched from anything I have come across. As an avid sports fan it brings so much joy seeing a group of people rally together so passionately about a common goal/team. The mantra of Liverpool FC is "you never walk alone" and this group JD has helped put together is an amazing example of living out that mantra. JD is definitely the "ring leader", the guy starting most of the singing/chants and the guy that will go up to any and everyone in the room to make sure they feel included and welcomed. He has a very contagious and positive energy to him and I am very grateful to call him a friend. The outreach that this group has done is really incredible as well. They have partnered with local nonprofits and have raised considerable funds with their yearly fundraiser. It is very important to JD and the whole LFCMT family that the money they raise go to directly impactful nonprofits that are here locally in the Murfreesboro community. JD thank you for all you do and for being on the podcast! Up the reds and Spread The Positive!

  • Derek Stone - Author, Entrepreneur, Speaker
This episode of the podcast is with Derek Stone! For years Derek Stone had dreams of becoming a musician. This road didn't lead him to success, however, it led him to Nashville, TN. Struggling to live as a starving artist with a family to feed, it was then he thought "there's got to be a better way." He went through an early life crisis, changing careers with the help of mentors and watching YouTube. He took his God-given talent of Creativity and transferred it from being something you hear to something that you can see. As it turned out, the construction industry was his road to success, the "better way" he had longed for. In three short years, he grew a small one-man show into a company with $1.2 million in gross revenue. He credits his success to one decision as a senior in high school. He started looking back at his life to figure out what made him so different from his three siblings. The difference. . . he chose to forgive his dad and to take a different path than his parents. He blamed his dad for every bad thing he went through as a child: from being sexually abused and going hungry, to taking cold showers because the power got cut off. He was a bitter teenager and wanted a better life, so when the opportunity presented itself, he took it and chose forgiveness.36 years since the beginning of his story and he is currently living his best life. He enjoys hunting, fishing, knife making, and hanging out with his family. He loves empowering people to re-tool and change their lives. He loves God, loves his family, and loves people. It was really amazing connecting with Derek. His story and the work he is doing is very commendable. Be sure to check out his new book "Why Should I Forgive". Big thanks to Derek for being on the podcast and for all he is doing to Spread The Positive!
