Fi: Helsingin päärautatieasema oli täynnä ihmisiä.
En: Helsingin main railway station was full of people.

Fi: Kevään lämpö sekoittui aseman jylhään rakenteeseen, ja joka puolella kuului askelten kaiut.
En: The warmth of spring mixed with the station's imposing structure, and the echoes of footsteps could be heard everywhere.

Fi: Oli kevätpäiväntasaus, ja Eero istui rautatieaseman puisella penkillä Kaisa vieressään.
En: It was the vernal equinox, and Eero sat on a wooden bench at the railway station with Kaisa next to him.

Fi: Kaisa huokaisi.
En: Kaisa sighed.

Fi: "Juna ei ole tulossa.
En: "The train isn't coming.

Fi: Tämän lakon vuoksi kaikki on myöhässä," hän sanoi tyynesti, mutta hänessä oli myös aavistus levottomuutta.
En: Because of this strike, everything is delayed," she said calmly, yet there was a hint of restlessness in her.

En: You and me."

Fi: Kaisa kohotti kulmiaan kiinnostuneena.
En: Kaisa raised her eyebrows with interest.

Fi: "Okei, mitä haluat sanoa?"
En: "Okay, what do you want to say?"

Fi: Eero keräsi rohkeutensa.
En: Eero gathered his courage.

Fi: "Kaisa, pidän sinusta enemmän kuin ystävänä.
En: "Kaisa, I like you more than a friend.

Fi: Haluan aloittaa uuden jakson kanssasi."
En: I want to start a new chapter with you."

Fi: Hänen sanansa tekivät Kaisasta hetkeksi sanattoman.
En: His words left Kaisa momentarily speechless.

Fi: Kaikki junat olivat edelleen myöhässä, mutta Eero tunsi jo helpotuksen.
En: All trains were still delayed, but Eero already felt relieved.

En: He had said what he wanted to say.

En: They sat quietly side by side, and the gentle scent of spring wafted through the station's open doors.

Fi: Kaisa kääntyi Eeron puoleen.
En: Kaisa turned to Eero.

Fi: "Ehkä voisimme kokea tätä seikkailua yhdessä, täällä Helsingissä, ainakin tänään."
En: "Maybe we could experience this adventure together, here in Helsinki, at least today."

Fi: Eero hymyili lopulta.
En: Eero finally smiled.

En: They stood up, the whole station spreading its busy chaos around them.

Fi: Junien tuleminen oli yhä epävarmaa, mutta heidän välillään oli uusi alku.
En: The arrival of trains was still uncertain, but between them, a new beginning had emerged.

Fi: He lähtivät yhdessä kävelemään Helsingin kaduilla, jättäen taakseen rautatieaseman myllerryksen.
En: They started walking together through the streets of Helsinki, leaving behind the turmoil of the railway station.
