Today we see the Biblical expectation for judgment, and how important it is that we align our own expectations according to what God has said. 

Today we see the warning to the rich who use their wealth to oppress, cheat the worker, and murder the innocent. 

Today we learn to remember that we will die, and why that memory is important. 

Today we look at six things James tells us to do in order to keep from quarreling and fighting. 

Today we learn what God says is really at the root of our quarrels and fighting.

Today we compare earthly and heavenly wisdom, and seek to understand the difference so that we might forsake evil and pursue good. 

Today we consider our tongues. 

For Christmas, we behold the love of God, taking note of love's object, love's expression, and love's cost. 

Today we journey through Habakkuk, and see how the prophet was able to rejoice in spite of uncertain, heartbreaking, and even horrifying circumstances.
