The valley of the shadow of death is a scary place, which can change quickly. Death is the enemy, and while we live in the shadow of that death, death itself has been taken on, for us, by Christ. We need not fear the true death, only walk through its shadow. The Lord will lead me to clear waters, and green pastures, for his righteousness.
