The disciples are freed from prison, and bade to continue spreading the news of Christ.

Jesus changes how we our treasure. Jesus changes how we see our future. Jesus changes our we see each other.

After the confrontation with the Jewish leaders, the apostles return to the church for rest, to remind themselves of their mission, to request God's aid, and then to return to spreading the gospel.

Peter and John are called before the Pharisees, in much the same manner as Jesus. And much to the surprise of the religious leaders, their responses to questioning showed a strong confidence and understanding of The Word. And a faith in Christ that frightened the Jewish elders.

After the lame man stood, Peter must instruct those at the temple on the source of this healing power.
