And... another great read from Jeanette Oake.
I chose 5 stars for the last book in the series because it brought together well all 4 books. I enjoyed the series most because the writer focused so sincerely on our Heavenly Father and how each Christian has such great security in His promises. Promises made and kept by our Living, Loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hope in Jesus is never lost Hope. Am looking forward to more "great reads" by Jeanette Oake.
I would love to read her personal testimony regarding her relationship with God Our Father, Jesus Christ His Son and our Savior, and His Holy Spirit.
Great Series of books - Charming
I really enjoyed this series pf books. They were full of surprises. He was a mite slow about things sometimes but ... I know I was confused about which girl he was gonna court!! All the characters were easy to understand! I could relate to them most times. I had one question for Janette Oke, why when he bought the neighbors land with the house and Avery lost his house did he not offer it to Avery? Plus I did miss his Aunt Lou and her children too!!
All in all was a great series of books . First one was a slow read at first but took off really well!!! Loved Gramps the best!!!
A little heavy although real
Each of the four books in this series was good in its own way. This fourth book was kind of heavy for a good portion of the story. The heaviness had its place but went on longer than I was comfortable with.
Lovely story
This is a lovely conclusion to the Seasons of the Heart series. Mrs. Oke does it again, bringing us a story of every day faith and old-fashioned romance with gentle tenderness and devotion. I enjoy reading Mrs. Oke's writing, because it is a kind of "comfort food" sort of thing, reassuring readers that it is possible that every day folks can and do live by Biblical standards and precepts and are able to get through tough times with very sturdy, proven honest faith. I am encouraged every time, in my Christian walk, through her humble, every day heroes in the pages of her books.
Uplifting!!!
I would recommend this book to anyone facing a trial of life that seems neverending or hopeless....this book gives encouragement to the faith and shows the power and sustainability of our heavenly Father!!!
