Signs and Gospel Significance-John 2-1-11--John uses the 7 signs as building blocks of evidence. Each sign adds to the weight of evidence. These 7 signs crescendo in the final, seventh sign, when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. This is John's closing argument to the case that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
