Springville Church of the Nazarene's Podcast

Join Pastor Mark over the next 4 Sundays of Advent, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of the "coming" of the Messiah-our Savior, Jesus Christ. The 1st of 4 principles that will help us take back Christmas from what it has become to what it ought to be: "Worship Fully."  This is the place we must begin because, ultimately, Christmas is all about worship. As you praising God with your words and actions?

Listen as Associate Pastor Doug Kamberg's delivers a message of , "Being Thankful".  A few thoughts as we head into the holiday season:  We can change our perspective with thinking positive thoughts. Be thankful for everything from God above. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus". Are you living with a "Heart of Thanksgiving"?

Join us as guest speaker, John Armstrong, teaches on "More Power". A study from Acts Chapter 1, God's Power. Verse 4....waiting on God. Verse 8....God's promise.

Join in as Pastor Mark continues the study in the book of Revelation. This weeks message in Revelation 13:1-10 asks, "Who is the Antichrist?" Is is not possible to know the precise identity of this world ruler. The Antichrist will, however, have a name, and he will be a real, living human being. The Antichrist's deception will be so sweeping that eventually that people will be unable to  believe the truth. Whatever you may take away from today's lesson, this is by far the most important lesson: to be sure your name is "written in  the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world." What about you? Is your name written there?

Follow along today with Pastor Mark as we continue our study in the book of Revelation. This weeks message is in Revelation 16: 1-21, the seven bowl judgements are when the world is reclaimed by God. What if you knew that today was your last day to live on this earth? How would you react? Are there matters in your life that needs repentance? Are there relationship issues that need to be resolved? So you have any regrets in life that need to be addressed? Today could be the day!

Pastor Mark continues with our verse-by-verse study of Revelation 15:1-8. This is the last set of 7 judgements to be unleashed upon the earth during the 7-year Tribulation. The final judgements occur in rapid-fire succession toward the very end of the Tribulation, just prior to the return of Christ. We must understand that "It's later than it's ever been!" The truth is, the only thing holding back the Rapture of the Church and the beginning of the Tribulation is God's desire for for more people to be saved. Where are you?

Follow along with Pastor Mark as we continue the verse by verse study of Revelation 14:6-20. if there is a theme to the Tribulation it is that Jesus wins-good ultimately triumphs over evil, God will separate the righteous from the unrighteous.  The is no "in between ground with the gospel-people will either worship God or worship the Antichrist. Which do you chose?

Join Pastor Mark with the continuing study in the Book of Revelation. This weeks message is from Revelation 13: 11-18, The Beast from the Earth. Most prophetic events cast a shadow. While the prophetic event itself happens in a moment of time, there are shadows of the event that touch those who live prior to the event. This is true of the 7-year Tribulation.

Follow along with Pastor Mark in this verse by verse study of Revelation 12:1-17. is Satan-the devil-for real? Satan's end times role is detailed for us in Revelation 12. This chapter presents significant truths about who he is and what he does as the archenemy of Christ and His Church.

Follow along as Pastor Mark continues with a verse by verse study in Chapter 11 of Revelation, verses 15-19. The 7th and final trumpet is sounded and 2 contrasting events occur, woe on earth and worship in heaven. These two events stand in stark contrast to each other.  So, which will you choose? Woe or Worship?
