We’re going to be talking about some things we need to control…who are we kidding, these are some things we need to totally delete from our lives.  Gossip is one of those things. So, how can we overcome the sin of gossip?  We want to give you 3 questions we have to ask ourselves.

Because our mind is a battlefield, most of life’s battles are won or lost in the mind.  What comes into your mind tends to come out in your life.  If you have a negative mind, it’s almost impossible to have a positive life…it’s a daily battle to win the war against negativity.

What do they really think of me? If I’m not like that, will they still love me? Our fear of others and what they think can cripple our life, but what God thinks of us can bring a whole new meaning.

It’s insurmountable. It feels like it at least. The money is just not enough. The job is just too much. The issues we face are out of our league. Sometimes, the odds just seem stacked against us. How do we overcome the fear of our situation? The answer may be simpler than you think.

When we feel like we don’t have enough, it causes us to act out of fear rather than the strength God has given us. Let’s look at Moses and how his excuses for why he wasn’t enough became what God used in a big way.

I'm just not enough. I don't have what it takes. Our fear of not being equipped or enough for the job can cause us to shrink back and not try at anything. What if, though, God could use the things you think you lack to do more in and through you than you thought?

When work and family collide, you will have some decisions to make. Who or what is going to get your most valuable resource…your time? Have you decided to make a change? Let’s walk through what Daniel did when he found himself in need of a change.

Many of us, if not all of us, wrestle with the tension between work and family. We have to decide what is going to take priority. Giving up good things for the sake of what’s best is not easy, even when we’re convinced it’s right.
