We’ve been away from each other for a while, but now it’s time to get the family back together all in one place! We’re taking a day to celebrate God and all that He’s done for us over these last few months apart with a Comeback Party. It’s time for the Springwell Family to come home!

Sometimes God sends us into situations where we have nothing to depend on but Him. He can use horrible situations to build our faith in Him. God may allow you to go through difficult days so that He can develop a trust in Him, by showing you your need for Jesus.

I’m just a… We can often get so focused on who we’re not that we forget the power and ability God’s put inside of us. With God, the powerless become powerful, the cowardly become bold, and little becomes much. He’s always been like that and He’s like that with you now.

God works in mysterious ways. Many of us have heard that before, but when it comes time to believe it in our own lives, it’s easier said than done. Could it be, though, that while you’re facing trouble, God is working in an area you have no idea about?

The morning routine. The daily grind. For many of us, that feels like all that life is. We feel that the things we do, when added up, really don’t mean that much. The great thing about a relationship with God is that He can do big things in and through us even when it doesn’t feel like we have a lot to offer.

We can’t respond to God without His help. When we seek Jesus out - we find Him. He gently breaks through to us in a personal way. Jesus calls us to faith in Him, by name. He brings forgiveness and healing for all the sin and hurt that fills up life without Him. He places people in our lives and works through them.

It’s possible that you’re chasing the wrong thing. It’s possible that you aren’t really willing to give 100% of your life to Jesus - just some parts of it. God doesn’t want your money or half-hearted devotion. He wants you to follow Him with every single part of your whole life.

Sometimes God is looking for us when we aren’t necessarily looking for Him. Maybe we don’t believe that He could, or would, love someone like us. Maybe we’re angry with God. Regardless of where we are, God is seeking us out and is crazy about us.

We all love a comeback. Just when it seems that it’s all over, from out of nowhere and overcoming seemingly insurmountable setbacks, the underdog secures the win. Jesus came back and claimed victory over what looked like defeat. Through Him, our setbacks can become comebacks, too.

The cross is a recognizable symbol. For years it has been. There’s something significant about this symbol, though. Near the cross, we find so much more than we can imagine. Near the cross, we don’t just find a dying Jesus, we find true life.
