God works in mysterious ways, but He is always working. We often try to figure God out and put Him in a box. God is bigger than our box and works in ways that are unimaginable and bigger than we could ever dream. Maybe, just maybe, God is doing more in and through your life than you think... He's sneaky like that.

Jesus showed us how to serve people every day that He was on planet earth. His example gives us a great glimpse into how we can be a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. While serving isn't always easy, it's always right. The key is finding our place in God's story and using what He's given us to make a difference.

Disciplines are beneficial - even if you have a bad attitude while carrying them out.  If you give God a slice of time, and a percentage of your money, you will be rewarded with a closer, sweeter, and more intimate walk with your Heavenly Father.  He uses discipline to build and grow your faith.

The Bible has been the world's best selling book for centuries. It's God's inspired word to us and we can base our lives on it. What is it really about? How do we know we can trust it?

How do you react when something ends that you really wanted to continue? How do you react when you didn’t get what you wanted? How do you react to closed doors you really hoped would be open? What is God trying to teach us in these times? Don’t despise closed doors, learn to see them for what they really are.

We find peace in prayer - but how? Spending time reading the Bible and praying to God will actually, physically, change your brain. We have to exercise our prayer life. One of the biggest ways we can fight the preprogramming we have in our minds is to begin a habit of praying to God and trusting Him.

We have to create different ways of looking at things. All too often, we look at circumstances as burdens instead of opportunities. We have to learn how to stop believing the lies of the past and begin walking out of the critical and negative framing the world offers. You can choose to trust that God is working. You can choose to look for the good.

Your life is moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts. Training your mind isn’t just exercising new thoughts, it’s learning good and healthy things. It’s about being reminded of truths. As you do this, you can identify lies and replace them with God’s truth.

Most of life’s battles are won, or lost, in the mind. There is a war raging inside us and our minds are the battlefield. The battle is between what God’s truth says about us and Satan’s lies. We have to keep a constant check running on what is occupying our thoughts. What comes into our mind comes out in our lives.

One hit wonders will make it big with one song, but often become paralyzed by the fear of having to measure up or have a bigger hit. We often face the same fears and find ourselves asking, “How can God use me? He used me once… but now what?”
