Living a lifestyle of worship, Min. Kenneth Smith aims to teach and preach the message of salvation in Jesus Christ through being a living example. Raised in North Carolina, along with two brothers and a sister, under the guidance of Kenneth Smith & Carolyn Mack, he experienced the love of God through the love of family.
“Live Out Your Assignment”, “Greater Strength is He”, “I Need A Word”, and etc. are some of the many sermons that touched the lives of many communities through Min. Smith’s preaching. He is the founder of Village of God, musical Levites that minister in songs formed in 2005. “Come In”, “No Failure”, “All Around Me”, and etc. are songs birth out of his music ministry. Every day he understands that ministry is just one’s ability to live out their purpose or assignment in a daily life. His prayer is that everyone will come to the idea that one doesn’t have to only speak his or her ministry in words, but live out his or her ministry, “Actions speak louder than words.” Min. Smith states that he understands that no one, including himself, is perfect but we as a people should continue to work towards excellence each day.
He is blessed to be under the wonderful ministry of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Spartanburg SC, where the angel and shepherd of the house is Pastor Walter R. Belton. Min. Smith serves as the minister of music at St. Paul. Many other persons, such as family, friends, and different churches have poured so much into his ministry which allows God to freely use him. Tune in as Host Diandra talks with Minister Kenneth Smith about his ministry, music, and being a living epistle Tuesday January 7th 6:30 pm EST.
