  • (Old episode Re-posted for a short period) Bonus Episode: What Would the Prophets do? Free Palestine
**Note: The Spur the Saints Podcast rebranded from the AI AD Podcast in Season 2**
As Christians we must think critically whenever see sin and conflict in the world. We must ask the right questions, and we must refuse to show partiality. However, this is not always easy when it comes to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. In todays episode Gianni and his special guest Stephen Lay, bring thoughtful insights and perspective to the podcast as they examine the conflict between Israel and Palestine. This episode covers a lot of content, but in general calls for Israel to repent of how they treat their neighbor. We tried to make this call in a loving, balanced, and biblical way. This episode is not an assault on Israel or the Jewish People. Gianni, whose mothers side of the family is Jewish, and Stephen (who studied this issues for years, do their best to approach the conversation with charity and honesty.
As always the host and the guest of the AI AD Podcast are only human. We say this in love and grace, and we hope you receive it that way.

  • Is it a Cult? Christianity vs. The Cults with Stan Hankins III

You will hear the word "Cult" thrown around pretty often. Some will use it to define Crossfit, some people like me will use it in reference to people who drink Kombucha (also me). But what actually is a Cult? What is a Cult compared to Christianity, especially since there are so many Christian denominations. In a world filled will faiths that claim to be true, and with potential disastrous consequences for answering the question of faith wrong, I brought my friend Stan Hankins the III on to talk about Christianity and Cults. Stan is a co host of Came Unto Christ, a podcast dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to Latter Day Saint community.

  • Toxic Masculinity Examined with Logan Penny

Welcome to Spur the Saints! Today, I (Gianni) had my friend Logan Penny back on the Podcast to talk about Toxic Masculinity. This is a nuanced and important conversation in todays cultural climate. Masculinity is being redefined and undefined everywhere you look. Men play a critical part in the well being of this world. How men partner with each other, and with other women to form society is critical. Men: Hopefully you feel like this episode pushes you to be a better man. Women: hopefully this episode provides context and input into what is healthy and unhealthy masculinity.

Welcome to Spur the Saints! Today, I (Gianni) had my friend Abby Ngugi on the Podcast to talk through her faith journey through Deconstruction, Depression, and Reconstruction. This episode is longer than most, and somehow I didn't even cover all of my thoughts. But it is a fun and serious episode. I hope you enjoy it.

  • The Christian Case for Morality: A Newcastle Case Study

Today we will be talking about morality. Is anything right? Is anything wrong? Are there such things as objective morality? Can someone be a morale relativist and seek justice in this world? Well I am trying to answer these questions today and I will be referencing the Saudi Arabian governments purchase of Newcastle United as a case study for a lot on the conversation. I love "football" or soccer and I thought this was a really interesting topic to do a podcast on after a lot of non-Christians I know became very upset about the Saudi Arabian takeover of Newcastle United.

I hope you enjoy today's episode!

  • Is the Covid Vaccine the Mark of the Beast? Nah…
Season 2 of the Podcast Returns under a brand new name. This episode of the "Spur the Saints Podcast", which featuring Logan Penny (a friend of the Pod) focuses on the question of whether Christians should get the Covid-19 Vaccine as well as reasons to believe that the none of these vaccines are (or probably any vaccine is) the "Mark of the Beast". Please enjoy this episode and email us if you have questions. As usual, the goal of this episode is not to "slam dunk" on people nor to make anyone look foolish. Instead I think you will enjoy this episode and the mixture of humor and information it provides.
    Note from the Host:
In this episode I, Gianni, makes it clear that I am vaccinated. I believe at this point most Christians should receive the vaccine but I love my Christian  and  non-Christian neighbors alike who are un-vaccinated. My hope is that this episode opens you up to the idea because after talking to a plethora of Christian and non-Christian nurses I have learned just how awful covid-19 is. It is not worth getting, and it is not worth spreading. The low death rate is attributable to our hospital staffs and not due to the weakness of the virus. If getting the vaccine decreases your chances of experiencing the virus by at least 90% then it is certainly worth it. But don't take it from my note, take it from the council of my podcast, your pastors, and medical professionals.

  • Exploring the Gospels: Can We Trust the Gospels?

**Note: The Spur the Saints Podcast rebranded from the AI AD Podcast in Season 2**

This is the last installment in a 5 part series on the 4 Gospels that start the Christian New Testament. This episode lightly covers a lot of objections people have against the Gospels. We tried to make this episode more light and fun since it is the last (planned) episode of season one. Please reach out if you have any questions about what is discussed in this episode. Below are some links to some of my resources.

  • Exploring the Gospels: John

**Note: The Spur the Saints Podcast rebranded from the AI AD Podcast in Season 2**

This is the fourth installment in a 5 part series on the 4 Gospels that start the Christian New Testament. Each episode will include an overview of the purpose, audience, and writer of the book as a well as a walk through of the first chapter. Then the series will end with a Q&A Episode where I will answer common objections and questions people have for the Gospels. This episode covers the Gospel of John which is the last Gospel we have in the bible. John is a book that challenges Jews and Gentiles alike. John gives his Gospel account to us in a much different manner than the other writers do. His Gospel is unique and certainly worth a read!

This series will borrow a lot from the Bible Project and the Bema Podcast. So special thanks to them!
