to celebrate the release of "Steamboat Willie" to the public domain, I present to you my alternate soundtrack, also public domain. "enjoy" this classic, historic cartoon, now accompanied by this very special composition!

equipment: cheap hardtail guitar, mooer micro drummer, cheap metal muff clone, bunch of sunvox projects, plogue alter/ego vocal synth running in LMMS, samples from a City of Phoenix press conference about animal mistreatment. mixed in audacity.

i wanted to show y'all this neat little guy i found in a old book, and this seemed like the most efficient way. enjoy!

added a -1 octave pitch-shifted double of the SunVox randomness. yanked the BPM slider around during recording to sampler, you know, for style. usual guitar procedure with heavy fuzz into octave. had Alter/Ego read from an old book off Project Gutenberg.

i am learning to play guitar with fewer concessions to musicality. the practice has paid off, and i am getting worse.
