Squared Circle Pit

Host Rob Pasbani is joined by Evan Minsker, the former Associate News Director at the recently gutted esteemed music publication Pitchfork. Evan and Rob discuss the similarities between music and wrestling journalism, how the Pitchfork restructuring statement felt like it used wrestling lingo ("kayfabe"), the politics of journalism, and how music journalists can use techniques from wrestlers released from WWE to get new work. Evan also discusses his fandoms of punk and wrestling, going to WCW shows as a kid, how he got into the Attitude Era, and getting back into wrestling through the CM Punk pipebomb.
