There is a theory Squire has that every goal in soccer is equivalent to two goals in the NHL.

The great hall of famer Stan Mikita passed away yesterday.  He was the highest scoring player in the 60's.  He was also one of the first players to use a curved blade.  Squire looks back on his career and his legacy.

Johnny Manziel was not ready to start the game last week which was obvious after he threw 4 interceptions in 30 minutes and then pegged a loss of 50-11.

What actually happened? Who is to blame? Was there a disagreement between Linden and the Aquamen? The real answers to these questions, probably will never be known. 

Are we hearing the full story of Trevor Linden parting ways with the Canucks?  It seems like a weird time for the announcement to be made that Linden is leaving the organization after 4 years as President.

Whitecaps star Alphonso Davies looks to be making the move to Bayern Munich. There is a silver-lining though.
