In Saundersfoot Bay, in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire lies an 83-year old lonely Cypress tree that is deeply rooted on Scar Rock.
It has been the pride and joy for the people living in the seaside town and also the many of thousands of holidaymakers that come to the beach to admire its beauty, to seek its shade, or as a backdrop to their sunbathing.
Now it faces being cut down because some people find it to be a hazard and not because it sometimes throws shade on their apartments.
There is now a community of like-minded people who wish to preserve the tree for future generations.
I wish them luck, I do hope that good sense will prevail
