After getting Rai Bular’s message through Bhai Bala Ji and Bhai Mardana Ji, Guru Ji leaves for Talwandi from Eminabad. The family gets the news of Guru Ji’s arrival as soon as they reach Bhai Bala Ji’s house and come to meet Guru Ji there. Chacha (younger paternal uncle) Lalu Ji is trying to convince Guru Ji to stay with family and not go on the udaasia (travels).

Malik Bhago is in anger after being exposed and decides to take revenge on Guru Ji. He approaches Khan (the King of Eminabad) whose son is on his death bed. On Malik Bhago’s indication, Khan asks Guru Ji to cure his son but in return Guru Ji breaks Khan’s ego by telling him that his son is already dead.

After arresting Guru Ji, Malik Bhago asks them for the reason behind rejecting the invitation to the feast. Guru Ji asks both Malik Bhago and Bhai Lalo Ji to bring food from their own house. Malik Bhago is exposed when blood pours out from his food and milk pours out from Bhai Lalo Ji’s food.

One of the Ministers of the King named Malik Bhago organises a big feast in the town and invites people from all 4 castes. Guru Ji being the knower of Malik Bhago’s sinful earnings refused to go to the feast. A Brahmin slanders Guru Ji and then comes with Malik Bhago’s servants to take Guru Ji.
