Yet again in Krishna avataram, he goes to the place of a humble and courteous garland maker and receives the offering of garland from him. How fortunate was the garland maker, to be chosen by the supreme Lord?

As Krishna and Balarama walked down the streets of magnificent Mathura, astonished  were the people at the sight of those boys with godly figure. During drought, Sumathi and her husband moved from Kongu desam to Srirangam. She was intrigued after observing Swami Ramanujar in Srirangam teaching people from all walks of life. Before leaving Srirangam, She visited him and obtained the preachings and also got his padukas as a remembrance. Later in life, she had a good fortune to receive Ramanujar and his disciples at her home. Since then, she has been known as Kongil Piratti.
