SSAA Podcast

We already missed January. We got to make this year work a lot better than the last. We finally bring you our first episode of 2016 with us talking about how we didn't watch any anime in 2015. Then, we go over how we are going to make 2016 better by actually watching something. Suggestions and segments we are only going to use once. The Ass Backwards Anime Podcast returns.

We got one more for you this year. On this episode of the podcast, we are joined by our guest from The Jump On Point, Fredrex00, to talk about wolf dudes with swords. We are going over the first season of the Garo anime. It's like we planned this on the previous episode or something.

And that took longer to put out. Hey, there is a new season of anime this fall. Well, we don't talk about it that much since not a lot of it came out when we recorded this. We are having a problem with things coming out when they are suppose to. So, here is what we thought of the summer season of anime for 2015. Enjoy.

The title is also the synopses of this bonus episode. So, that kid we had on our show one time all those years ago showed up to a con I was at. We finally chatted face to face. Wow, this took a lot longer to actually come out. We review the latest anime, Windows 10. We wanted to cover the latest season first before we go back and talk about the older seasons. We do that and talk about a couple of projects we will be doing over the coming years. One is old. The other is new. This is going to be fun. We are an anime podcast by the way.

Hey, I did a guest spot on our old friend's podcast. Josh Dunham has started his new blog/podcast, Senpai Coast to Coast, where he does Josh things. He invited me, fellow Gintabro, Colton, and the baddest man on the planet, CJ Hitchcock, to discuss if anime is going to die. Listen as Josh tries his best to host this show.

The podcast keeps on trucking. Spring is finally here. That means there are more shows that we can completely ignore watching this year. On this episode of the podcast, we are joined by Colton of Life Lessons: The Gintama Manga Cast.

You cannot get anymore anime than this episode of the podcast. We are talking about Anime the Anime, also known as, Shirobako. Though this was technically recorded as an episode of the AniManga Podcast, I decided this show was worth sharing on our feed as well. Sadly, Jammer already released his version of the episode so I thought I would do him better by talking about the last episode since we recorded before it actually aired. Mind you, I wasn't the one who set it up.

Turns out there are still a bunch of robot shows we haven't talked about on this show. That's fine. We are are here to fix that. I, Doctor, am joined by Mecha anime enthusiasts Fred, aka Fredrex00, and Eric, aka Guy With Too Many Nicknames, to suggest to you a grab-bag of shows that you should check out if you want to understand why the genre is...well...just plain cool.
