The ladies are joined by Volunteer & Guest Coordinator Jessica Laidley of the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre, which is to provide services to encourage self-sufficiency and improve quality of life through reducing hunger and its effects.  And, further, to protect children and develop social skills through the Brighter Beginnings Children’s Program.

The Soup Kitchen strives to heighten awareness of the public’s responsibility to address and prevent poverty. This is accomplished in an atmosphere of compassion and respect as follows:
