On this mountain, the mystery of Christ, transfigured, shown forth his divine nature, his risen and ascended existence to three earthbound disciples. Before his disfiguration, he was transfigured to provide an iconic preview of his post-resurrection body. We too shall be glorified with radiant light. Now, go and tell that Christ has died, Christ has risen and Christ will come again. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
