Take a front row seat to the greatest show on earth: God unveiled in the flesh in Jesus Christ.

The Kingdom of heaven is near. We can trust God that one day we will see it for what it is. The Messiah has come and he is ushering in the day of comfort.

Jesus self-sacrificial love has won peace for us. We are to practice that quality of love every day and lay down our lives for the sake of others just as Jesus did.

Peace in the church by approaching those we disagree with in love and humility. Peace with the world by making evident our gentleness. Peace in prayer, bringing all our requests to God. Peace through practice.

Paul encourages us to stand firm in the Lord: love people, love God and love his Word.

The mature Christian presses on to follow Christ because of the surpassing worth of knowing Him.

The people of God's Kingdom exist to reflect His glory and it is our character through which God works - our character matters.

We are contending as one for the gospel, partners as brothers and sisters in Christ. Is our focus and joy in life, bringing people into God's Kingdom?

Jesus, with all that he had, humbled himself to serve the world and reconcile it to God. In the same way, we are to be active in serving, passive in self-promoting, allowing the gospel to show it's fruit in our lives.

Paul urges the Philippians to sit loosely in their culture and live according to the gospel alone. We are called on to be bold for Christ but humble toward the world.
