At the climax of John’s gospel, we are called to a fully Christian belief in Jesus as Messiah and Son of God, with the result that we have Life.

Do we recognise Jesus, the King of the Cosmos, as our Lord and our God?

Will we commit to following Jesus as our King, commit to giving our life in service of Him and our neighbour, for His glory?

The passions you choose in life determine your level of contentment. If we give ourselves to some things, we will surely wind up devoid of satisfaction. On the other hand, chasing after others will give us a lasting contentment that cannot be taken from us.

What makes us different? Our Saviour, Jesus: this is the message of hope that we possess.

We need to remember where we come from, care about people, minister to them where they are starting from, and illustrate the way to God by the way we live.

Let us not fear missing out on what the world offers and deny Jesus. Let us not be so enamoured with church or religion that we forget God.

We have been saved from judgement and saved to eternal life with God, in fellowship with Him. This reality changes everything about our journey and mission.

Jesus gives God the glory by calling people to know God. We are precious in God's sight - will this propel us to serve our community by sharing the love and truth of Jesus with them?

The most precious thing we can do in our life is to fill our mind with the words of Jesus: words of truth, power and eternal life.
