  • To Know the Trinity

On this Trinity Sunday of 2026, Rev. Ben brings in some extra help from Athanasius (the hamster) to preach on the ways in which we can know God as the Holy Trinity. Drawing from Genesis 1 and Matthew 28, he discusses how we can know God because we are made in His image and baptized into His name, and recommends a spiritual practice for us to grow in our communion with the Holy Trinity.

  • Union and Unity in the Spirit

Beginning with a reading from Acts 2 in many different languages (Latin, Spanish, Greek, German, Swahili, Slovak, and English with American Sign Language), Rev. Ben preaches on this Pentecost Sunday how the Holy Spirit brings us into union with Jesus individually, and therefore we can have unity with one another. Our unity in the Spirit is a true unity, unlike the unity of those building the tower of Babel in rebellion against God.

  • Always Be Prepared

In this sermon from the 6th Sunday of Easter in 2026, Rev. Ben continues to preach through 1 Peter, and on this passage he speaks on our call to engage a hostile world with the Gospel, where we will encounter resistance and mockery. Peter tells us to not be afraid, but to honor Christ the Lord as holy, and always be prepared to make a defense for our faith. Ben concludes with some helpful questions for us to reflect on as we go:

Are you living a life that makes people ask?
What makes it hard for you to share your faith? Where does that fear come from and how can you give it over to the Lord?
Are you to prepared to share?

    1. Identity. Purpose. Mission.

In this sermon on the Fifth Sunday of Easter, 2026, Rev. Ben preached from 1 Peter 2 this word of proclamation and exhortation, where the apostle Peter wrote about who we are in Christ, and how we are to live into that calling. The identity we have received as a gift gives us a deep sense of purpose, which launches us out into mission in the world.

On this Palm Sunday of 2026, Deacon Daniel preaches on the abrupt attitude shift of the crowds throughout Holy Week, because they are disappointed with who this Messiah ends up being. Often, this can reflect our own disappointments with God, which can blind us to what He is actually doing.
