As Christians we can find our true identity from the Bible; not just who we are and where we have come from, but why we are here, what we should be doing and where we are going. Paul teaches us that in Christ we are a new creation, with a new identity and a new "job description" - to represent God to the world, and to bring the world to God.

Jesus is the ideal Davidic King (fulfilling the prophecy in 2 Samuel 7), who derives his authority from God his Father, has defeated our enemies of sin and death, and cares for us as a shepherd cares for his sheep.
