Where and how is the present world going to end? The passage explores the role of Christ in the original creation, and in the redeemed humanity and renewed creation which is the Christian hope. That hope motivates and inspires us in our Christian lives, knowing that what we do now will contribute to building the renewed world which is promised but not yet fulfilled.

Pass it on. Christians have a responsibility to pass the baton of faith on to the next generation. As part of our Welcome Series of sermons we look at 2 Timothy 3 and 4 seeing how Paul, reaching the end of his life, has passed the baton of faith on to young Timothy - via his teaching, his way of life and his purpose. We ask: 'what are you listening to?'; 'who are you copying?'; 'where are you heading?'

How do we reach our community? First, by having a life-changing relationship with Jesus ourselves. And second, by being a life-changing community with Jesus at the centre.
