Because of all God has done in Jesus, and is doing in us, we can push His salvation into every part of our common life - beginning with not complaining or arguing, even in the most extreme of life's circumstances.

Right at the start, God shows that He is free, joyful, generous and supreme in creation. He brings light, order, and fullness to darkness, chaos and emptiness, and forms us to continue spreading His image throughout the world.

The bad news is that selfish ambition and vain conceit lead us to the wrong mission based on a wrong assessment of our abilities. The good news is that God has shown us, in Jesus, what our true mission is and where the power to accomplish that mission comes from.
