Pre Election Psalm

We are not democrats. We are not republicans. We don't even bother trying to give everyone a fair voice when it comes to the direction of the church! We are monarchists! No matter who is in power, we wait for and trust in our God. 

Today's Text is from: Psalm 146

David expounds on what it means to be forgiven. The reading is taken from Psalm 103.

David did not back down from taking responsibility for his actions. When God dealt with David, David responded by remembering to be humble! David remembered that God is the Lord, and that David was not.

This week David reminds us that God has grace on our lives, but that doesn't mean we can shirk our responsibilities. We see some oversights that lead to some pretty gruesome times.
