"These scriptures are lifting up our response to this, because this child was born. And when we stop and further reflect, we get today," for our celebration of Mass during the day of the Nativity of the Lord (Christmas). "And then it talks beautifully about this divinity of God ... and became man, became a human being. He entered into our humanity. For me, the most divine and human moment of Jesus' life in his 33 years, was there ... when all that had happened to put him on that cross, ... that he could have the divinity to say, 'Father, forgive them all, they know not what they do.'"

"And we see so clearly, visually, but seeing very often to walk in the darkness of sin, the darkness of this inner-spiritual death," Father Perry tells us for our Mass during the night of the Nativity of the Lord (Christmas). "This reading is a prophetic voice, so powerful. That a light would come into the world that we would be able to see — and see clearly — Jesus the light. Do we want to be people of the light? Do we want to radiate that light?"
