Sunday teaching from St Christopher's Church. Hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus, in a time of tumult and darkness the prophet Isaiah was given glimpses of a promised one, someone who would be sent by God to rescue his people. This Autumn join us as we look to see in these ancient prophecies a little more of the face of Jesus: one born for us, an anointed shepherd, a bridegroom, a suffering servant, a bearer of the Spirit, a lamb to the slaughter. And, as we allow this One who saves, this promised God-with-us, to speak into our lives today.
