Join a conversation around the connections between freedom and poetry. The conversation will center two spoken word poems, "And the Reporter Says Jesus is White" by Crystal Valentine and "Rekia Boyd" by Porsha Olayiwola.

The Rev. Dr. Canon Robert Phillips from the Episcopal Diocese of Washington will join us to discuss the process of a rector search and how we at St. Columba's will find our next rector. Canon Phillips is the Canon for Leadership Development and Congregational Care.

In the season after Epiphany, St. Columba's will use Rev. Dr. Wil Gafney's Women's Lectionary. Our forum will address the purpose and scope of the lectionary and explore what we can learn through hearing different language for God and new translations of scripture.
