The Old Testament is full of types and figures of Christ. With the light of the New Testament we can glean rich illustrations of our Lord, what he has done and what he is to the people of God, by looking back at these types.-In this first sermon in this series we look at Noah's Ark.-1- The types of Christ seen in the construction of the ark-2- The types of Christ seen in the day the flood came-3- The types of Christ that Noah knew while in the ark

With the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping the world, the preacher sets before us the Lord's sovereignty and control in the world. Covering events at this time in the world and also his irresistible grace is saving his people.-God in control - a message for such a time as this.

God's people are to be in the world but not of it. -The world- in scripture is set before us as that which is to be overcome if we value fellowship and communion with the Lord and his people.-The preacher sets before us three overcomers of the world as taught in the text.-1- Whatsoever is born of God-2- A believer in Jesus-3- Our faith

Men are going many different ways to eternity, some with no belief in God, others with a profession of religion.-With the current Covid-19 pandemic it becomes us to examine our faith and walk.-The preacher opens up what God directs us to do- Stand, see, ask for the old paths and walk in them. He then sets before us the Lord's promise of rest unto our souls, and challenges his hearers over the people's response to the word of the Lord through Jeremiah.

The woman of Canaan persevered through many discouragements to obtain a blessing and be commended for her God given faith. The preacher traces the path she walked to obtain the blessing. An encouragement to all that meet with similar trials of faith today.

God's elect are called by the Apostle Paul -Vessels of Mercy- The preacher traces seven places in the Word of God, where from an earthen vessel to a people waiting for their Lord with oil in their vessels with their lamps, the people of God are likened to vessels.

The Apostle Paul exhorts the Colossians to let, or allow, the peace of God to rule their hearts, and the word of Christ to dwell in them richly.-Being still in the flesh and having an old nature, there is much opposition from within and without to these two things- The rule of peace and the word dwelling in us. We like the Colossians need this exhortation today.
