I’ve run with this before in this devotional space, but it bears repeating as we cap off a week of reflecting upon being peacemakers. I can’t think of any better way to do so than this story. If it’s merely the stuff of legend, if it’s not historically true, well, then it should be. The same goes with the timeless prayer following.
