As we enter day 5 of the novena, we reflect on the authority and power Jesus has as he commands the centurion's servant to be healed. May we have the faith of the centurion who only needs Jesus to say the word, and his servant is healed.

Jesus has the power to restore our lives and to unbind all those things that hold us back from being who he made us to be. Listen to the story of Lazarus who came back to life!

As we continue the novena journey, we are reminded to have good friends to help us encounter Jesus and be a good friend to others bringing them to the light.

As we journey through this novena, Day #2 helps us understand that Jesus does choose to heal us, transform us and empower us to share the Good News. We become like the healed leper in the gospel reflection for this day.

Fr. John begins the novena pilgrimage by asking all of us to open our hearts and be patient on this journey of faith seeking healing, love and peace.

With the story of the Road to Emmaus, Jesus reminds us that he walks with us always leading us to light, peace and joy. We too are called to share the road with one another being Christ for one another.
