Psalm 95 – We must worship God as He tells us because He is sovereign over us, and He is zealous for His own worship.

Hebrews 12:18-27 – Praise God. We approach Him through Jesus and Mount Zion rather than through Moses and Mount Sinai.

Deuteronomy 4 – God’s Word must dictate how we worship Him.

Hebrews 12:14-17 – The brilliance of Christ prompts us to vigorously pursue holiness.

Deuteronomy 12 – We must worship God how He has told us to.

1 Timothy 3:8-13 – What are the qualifications for deacons, why do these qualifications matter and how will this help us as we appoint deacons for St Giles?

Exodus 20:4-6 – The temptation to idolatry has always be there. The second commandment gives us much need direction.

Acts 6:1-7 – Practical problems threaten the church’s unity and witness, but God’s solution of godly deacons addresses the threat and even bolsters the church’s effectiveness.

Psalm 40:5 – To whom will you compare God? As such, we are to have no other Gods before Him.

Hebrews 12:4-13 – Hardship is discipline for the Christian. And it comes from the hand of our loving Father for our good.
