Luke 2:22-40 – Simeon and Anna encounter Jesus – Israel’s redemption and consolation.

Isaiah 9:6-7. Jesus is the promised Son and eternal King who delivers us from darkness to light.

Proverbs 31:29-31. True beauty is not found physical appearance, but in a heart that knows and fears the Lord.

Luke 1:26-45. Mary is honoured as the Lord’s servant who will bear the coming Messiah.

Mark 10:45 – Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and this is good news for us this Christmas!

Matthew 1:18-25 – Joseph’s not the star of the Christmas story, but, under God, he plays a vital part. He’s a faithful man who turns our attention to Jesus (the real star of the show).

Luke 2:1-21. The first birth announcement of the Saviour King was given to the most unlikely of people: humble and ordinary shepherds.

Isaiah 53.1-2.

Luke 1:26-28. Jesus is great because Jesus is God.

There are lots of good ways to use our homes this Christmas, but will we use them as a means by which people can meet God?
