  • Who Can Be Against Us? - Aug 23 - Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost
The good news of the Gospel is that no one can be against us, no one can
bring any charge against us, and no one can condemn us because Jesus died for us,
rose from the dead for us, and always intercedes for us.

  • All Things Work Together for Good - Aug 16 - Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost
Suffering frequently appears to be meaningless and random, causing us to
doubt whether God is good or even if he exists. But the Bible's vision of salvation
is that God is joining our suffering to his own suffering in Jesus, and working
through it to bring about the renewal of all things.

  • Praying in the Holy Spirit - Aug 9 - Tenth Sunday after Pentecost
Stuck between the suffering of this age and the return of Jesus and the new
creation, we frequently don't know what to pray for. But the Holy Spirit, who
convinces us that we are indeed God's daughters and sons, also prays to the Father
    through us on our behalf.

  • The Hope of New Creation - Aug 2 - Ninth Sunday after Pentecost
For the past several centuries Christians in the West have embraced the
belief that the destiny of Christians is to "go to heaven when we die." But
according to Paul, the story of salvation that God is writing in history does not
end with believers living in a disembodied heaven forever but with the renewal of
all of creation, including the restoration of our bodies and the setting up of a
universal kingdom of righteousness and peace here on his renewed earth.

  • Assurance in the Holy Spirit - Jul 26 - Eighth Sunday after Pentecost
What does it mean to live in the Spirit? How can I know that I have the
Holy Spirit? How can I know that I really belong to God? In this study of Romans
8:5-17, Aaron Mueller explains Paul's answers to these questions and invites us to
explore how life in the Spirit is the key to knowing who we are in Christ.
