  • What's Going on Here? - Jun 8 - The Day of Pentecost
On the day of Pentecost, something remarkable happened—something that made
people stop and ask, “What’s going on here?” In this week’s service, we reflect on
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and what it means for the Church today. The coming
of the Spirit marks the beginning of a new era—God’s mission through Jesus has been
completed, and now, empowered by the Spirit, God’s people are sent to proclaim that
    mission to the world.
As we remember that Pentecost was originally a Jewish pilgrim festival, we see how,
on that particular day, the Spirit came with power and purpose. The disciples were
given words to speak, and every listener heard in their own language. This
miraculous moment signaled that we are now living in the "last days," the time in
which God's full plan of salvation in Jesus has been revealed.
But what does this mean for us? As those who have received the Holy Spirit, we are
called to be proclaimers too. Do our lives reflect this calling? If not, how can we
    be renewed in our purpose?
Join us as we explore these questions and rejoice in the Spirit who equips us to
live out our faith with boldness and clarity.

  • Prayer Means Relationship - Jun 1 - Seventh Sunday of Easter
Jesus, the Son of God, has power to change lives and yet, rather than
exercise His power, He prays. Jesus could do all of the things for which He asks
here in prayer. But, instead of doing them on his own, He offers them to His Father.
Why? Because there is something more important than the things for which He prays.
Above all petitions, even above life itself, Jesus values His relationship with His
    Father.

  • Peace That the World Cannot Take Away - May 25 - Sixth Sunday of Easter
We live in very unsettling times. When the whole order of the world seems
to be shifting, it is good for us to return to the unshifting words of Jesus Christ.
Among Jesus’ last words before He was arrested and crucified, we see His tender
concern for his disciples. He assures them of the love His heavenly Father has for
them. He explains that they can pray directly to God the Father in Jesus’ name—and
He will answer. Jesus comforts them with His assurance that He will rise from the
dead, and earlier in the chapter, Jesus promises them the Holy Spirit.
Jesus also warns his disciples that a time is coming when they will be scattered and
even abandon the Christ. But He promises never to abandon them. Likewise Jesus will
never abandon us, who put our faith in Him.
In the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the followers of Jesus find peace, even in the
most unsettling times, a peace the world cannot take away.

In a world filled with suffering, sorrow, and sin, God offers a glimpse of

  • How's Your Love Life? - May 4 - Third Sunday of Easter
In this week’s message, we turn our attention to a deeply personal and
spiritual question: How’s your love life with Jesus? We often associate love with
romance or family, but Jesus’ question to Peter in John 21—“Do you love
Me?”—challenges us to reflect on the nature and temperature of our relationship with
our risen Savior. Whether we feel red-hot in faith or find ourselves distant and
distracted, Jesus meets us with grace, restoration, and purpose.
Through the lens of Peter’s denial and restoration, and the real-life testimony of
Beldisa—a woman who found new life in Christ after tragedy and war—we’ll explore how
God’s love breaks through even the coldest of moments. Jesus not only forgives, He
restores and calls us to feed His sheep. Join us as we rediscover what it means to
live in the warmth of God’s redeeming love and answer His call with renewed
    devotion.

  • The Rest of the Story - Apr 27 - Second Sunday of Easter
No one was saying "He is risen indeed" the first Easter. Rather there was
fear and confusion summarized in the Gospel of Luke by the word "marveling." There
are many today who also marvel-if God loves us and is all powerful why are there
accidents, illnesses and death. While we can't answer that question, as the answer
is different for each person and situation, on the basis of the Easter story there
are definitely two comforting things that can be said. We will look at the unique
words of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke and how they give faith to the marveling.

  • Good News! - Apr 20 - The Resurrection of Jesus
Join us for our Easter Sunday celebration as we proclaim the Good News of
Jesus’ resurrection. Though He was betrayed, crucified, and buried, the tomb could
not hold Him. On the third day, it was found empty—just as He said. Christ is risen!
    Alleluia!
Reflect with us on the message of Luke 24:6-9 and the significance of the empty
tomb. This is the hope of the Church and the joy of the world: Jesus lives.

  • The Thief - Apr 18 - Good Friday
What gives a man facing hell the faith to both acknowledge the justice of
his fate and yet at the same time hope for a totally undeserved eternity. What words
did he hear that changed his life? What words will we hear this Good Friday that
changes our lives? What is the greatest promise Jesus makes to the thief and to us?
Surprisingly it’s not just about paradise.

  • "X" Marks The Spot - Apr 17 - Holy Thursday
On this Holy Thursday, we will go on a treasure hunt—not the kind that
leads to gold or jewels, but one that leads us to the greatest treasure of all time:
    Jesus.
Drawing from **Luke 22** and other rich passages of Scripture, we explore how the
events of Holy Week fulfill the ancient promises of God. Just like in a classic
treasure hunt, filled with clues, codes, and dramatic discoveries, God’s Word has
been leading us toward something precious—His Son, our Savior.
From the first Passover lamb in _Exodus_ , to _Isaiah’s prophetic words_ , to Jesus
sharing His final meal with His disciples, the signs have been there all along. The
“X” that marks the spot? **It’s the cross.** And the treasure? **It’s Jesus** —God’s
perfect fulfillment of the law, our sacrificial Lamb, and our risen Lord.
We reflected on how often we chase after lesser treasures in life: success, health,
security, approval. While these are not bad things in themselves, they can never
take the place of the true treasure that gives eternal life. Jesus is not only the
end of the map, _He is the map_. The one who gave His life for ours, who poured out
His blood for a new covenant, who invites us to His table, offering His body and
blood for the forgiveness of sins.
As we share in Holy Communion, we are reminded that the treasure of Jesus is not
hidden or far away. He meets us right here—in bread and wine, Word and promise,
    cross and empty tomb.
Tonight’s message is a call to return to the map God has drawn in His Word, to look
again at the clues, and to find our hearts where our true treasure is: in Christ.
    > **Luke 12:34** : “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
May our hearts be set on Jesus this Holy Week and always.
**Don’t miss the “X”—it marks the spot of your salvation.**
