1 Kings 1-2 show we need the King appointed by the Lord to be blessed in this painful world. Jesus is the King we need who uses his power and authority to be compassionate to us and to extend grace, mercy, and forgiveness to us.

Does anyone really know what you're going through? In another of our Greatest Hits sermon series, we'll see from Psalm 139 that because God knows us and is with us through his King Jesus, even in trouble we can be amazed, be comforted, praise him and seek his help.

What is true? How can we know truth? Ryan Follent, a student from SMBC, will show us from John 18:28-40 that we can rejoice in and respond to Jesus as the king of truth.

It's hard to find good leaders! At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of God's good promised king. On this Christmas Day, we'll see from Matthew 2:1-12 that Jesus is God’s promised king who has come to save his people. We can either reject him as a threat or worship him as our king.

How do we know we can trust Jesus? Ryan Follent, a student from SMBC, will show us from Matthew 1:18-25 that because Jesus is fully God and fully Man, we can trust him, no matter what.
