St. John’s parted ways with coach Mike Anderson after 4 seasons at the helm and no postseason appearances. I don’t think it was a disaster and appreciate some of the things he was able to do while at SJU, but I believe this decision is justified and he will get compensated incredibly well. 

St. John’s is also rumored to be targeting Rick Pitino, in what would be the most obvious and simple way for St. John’s to resuscitate it’s once proud program.
