Synopsis:

This is the 5th talk in our series entitled "On Mission with Paul" traking some of his key teachings in Acts. Ruth draws out 3 key points from the lesson in Acts encouraging us to keep watch over:

1) what we focus our lives on,

2) ourselves and the flock,

3) what we do.

Synopsis:

John shares the stories of both Jeremiah and Paul as they sought to faithfully share God's Word to the people of Israel and the wider world. He reminds us that God does not pick success stories to be His chosen ones and that being chosen may well demand extended periods of suffering. HOwever, God is with those who endure these. He reminds us that we have experienced a relatively comfortable period for a long time in the UK as followers of Christ, but with the increasing departure from God's law in this nation we may see a shift.
