KMOX’s Stuart McMillian sat down with the man and his wife made famous for pointing guns at protesters in 2020. Their case went before the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals this morning in hopes of getting their guns back. Mark McCloskey and his wife Patty plead guilty to lesser charges to avoid jail time after the incident. Governor Mike Parson pardoned them in 2021. The McCloskeys believe the pardon also wiped out their plea deal which included forfeiting the guns from that famous photo- an AR-15 and pistol. If the court of appeals ends up disagreeing with him, McCloskey says he's willing to take it to higher courts.
