In this final and very important homily in a very turbulent time after the bombing of a gay club in Orlando Florida, and after the fall out after the UK EU referendum which has left many shocked and very upset, Shannon Preston draws on the extraordinary texts of the day on Sunday 26th June which speak directly into these situations.  Psalm 16, Galatians 5:1. 13-15 and Luke 9:51-62.   We thank the Revd Shannon Preston for her ministry at St Lukes Church in the last year.  We will miss her as she leaves Lambeth Palace and the St Anselm Community to take up a position in Austin Texas as a Priest in the American Episcopal Church.
