What fills you? Allow the Holy Spirit to fill you. Why? To be courageous, faithful, & strong

With all the violence in the world today, we should turn to the Bible to read the multiple references against it.

Sometimes God instructs us to do the things we don't want to do. We can do it if we trust in God.

Thomas represented the spriritual doubts that we all experience. As we see in this sermon, wrestling with doubt builds our faith. Even when Jesus commissioned the faithful, some doubted.

This week begins walking down the road with Jesus and Disciples, remembering our journey over the last year. 1) Where have you been this last year? 2) Where are you in the crowd? 3) What do you need from Jesus today?

80/20% principle. Only God knows us 100%. 20% in story, 80% rest of story. It is about being in the body of Christ. Church community.

Prodigal son. Young son could not make it on his own, we need God. Elder son resentful of father's response. Resentment & joy cannot co-exist. Where are you in your journey? Have something in your past or do you feel your good needs go unoticed.

Bad thing happen, but so do good things. Even in tradegy there are blessings, it is sometimes difficult to find the good. God does not give us what we deserve, but is merciful, forgiving, & gives us grace & a second chance.

God stays on mission, especially when we need him.
