In our world we are always distracted, always thinking about our own creature comforts, to do lists or just things that occupy our mind to no value. But if we gain an awareness of those around us and also how ever-present God is around us, then we will truly begin to find salvation.

The Annunciation reveals what true surrender looks like—St. Mary broke her will and offered herself fully to God. In the same way, we’re called to break our will through fasting, prayer, and sacrifice, offering our lives as a living sacrifice to Him.
