• A story about Saint Martin of Tours. An unlikely saint whose early life was as a soldier in the Roman military. Even at a very young age, he gave away a good chuck of his salary to the needy in what ever area he was deployed. He is noted for a number of miracles that were performed in his life but the most striking example of his generosity was to share his cloak by cutting it in half with a freezing beggar. He had a vision of Christ that evening wearing the other portion of his cloak.
