A beautiful movement on the part of Weston, CT high schoolers who started the The Senior Connection Club uniting both high schoolers and senior citizens in the town of Weston, Ct. It has become a great success story for the High School and the the senior citizens through interaction in various programs.

There was a time when Frank Sinatra was going through a very difficult time in his life but in his career and personal life. He was Lon longer seen as important and cast as a has-been.  This is the story of Frank and his association with the restaurant Patsy's in NYC and how it turned out to be a beautiful acceptance of Sinatra even though the restaurnant was designated as "Closed for Thanksgiving" Hope you enjoy!

A combination of two very young men that will be canonized on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. They are Carlo Acutis, born in 1991 and died in, I believe, 2006 and Pier Giorgio Frassati born in 1901 and died in 1924. They were both full of life and joy but accomplished ao much in their short lives. Carlo has documented all of the Eucharistic Miracles over the ages on his website while Pier Giorgio constantly gave to the poor and cared deeply for the people of Turin, Italy where he lived. Frank Sinatra at Patsy's Restaurant always requested the check when he dined there. On this one occasion, he called ahead of time to make a reservation for a party of four but, importantly, his guests were to be offered the check at the end of the meal. That's when the fun begins with his guest's credit card. Only about five minutes long but hope you enjoy.

This is a wonderful story about the time when the New York Yankees were celebrating their 1977 World Series victory and an encounter with Frank Sinatra at Patsy's Restaurant in New York City. It is an excerpt form a book written by Sal Scognamillo, the grandson of the founder of Patsy's. The title of the book is Patsy's Cookbook.Just a fun experience for all who were involved that night at the restaurant.

Salt, while just a commodity in our society has a very rich history for all of mankind. This episode covers the first recognition of  the importance of salt in China and the subsequent recognition that it was provided in Europe when Marco Polo brought it to Venice in the late 13th Century. Salt was esteemed by royalty and many wars have been fought over its dominance. In fact, it was a major factor in the colonies succeeding from England. There are many kinds of salt including refined and unrefined. We currently use refined salt as a common table salt but unrefined salt has more vitamins and minerals.

A short story about three raccoon buddies going to Ralph's Supermarket to purchase different kinds of foods then the usually have.
