A description of an intercession with Blessed Carlo Acutis in the town of Assisi, Italy at St. Mary Major Cathedral and also with a local priest by the name of Father Leandro by a Spanish nurse and pediatrician. Lola realizes that she may have cancer and visits the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis and feels like a heavy burden has been lifted from our body. She prays to God and Carlo to help her raise her children and that her family will not be negatively impacted by her illness. A further incident happens when a local priest in Spain suddenly offers to Lola and her husband, Pablo a cloth that happens to be a second class relic of Blessed Carlo to keep until she is healed. She has now been totally clear of cancer for about 4 years.

How and what we do each moment of our lives-how we eat, what we wear, where we travel, how we relate to other people, A pope has so many responsibilities to himself, the church and all other people. Just a crazy thought on what it might be.

A story about a retail store that provided excellent service to a customer. Albeit, the purchase was for less than $100 and they indicated free shipping on orders over $75. We were just above the minimum required but the store's approach was first rate in both handling questions by the attendant and the delivery, speed and care for packaging a bird feeder we purchased from a Wild Birds Unlimited. We also mention the care of another online store entitled Sweetwater Recording that has scare factor with a specific store representative assigned to a customer and a follow up phone call after a purchase. First Class!

A beautiful story about a Sudanese slave who was tortured in early  life became a strong reminder of the strength of change that can happen in our lives. From Sudan and slavery, she was brought to Italy and became familiar with the Christian beliefs, was baptized and loved her new life. Sh was, among others, a doorkeeper for the school where she was and the people loved her because of her caring

Clare Crockett as a young Irish teenager is totally devoted to her acting, singing and wants to become very famous as soon as possible. All in her immediate family and her friends can see the brightness in her personality and her ability to communicate so well with others. Unexpectantly, she goes on a Pilgrimage to Spain and has a life changing experience on Good Friday. This, ultimately, changes her life. She desires to become a nun with the Servant Sisters in Spain. At first, she assumes that she can become a "famous" nun and continue some of her previous lifestyles. But, after awhile, she buckles down and realizes it is either God or the world. Great story about change.

Tony Hendra, the author of Father Joe is best known for his lead position with the National Lampoon and his involvement with the very famous comedy movie entitled "Animal House" in the late 1970's. He moved to the theatre and was fundamental in a very successful play entitled "Lemmings" that brought to fame John Belushi and Chevy Chase. He later co-created a successful tv series in England entitled "Spitting Image". Tony's book centers also around his relationship to a Father Joe-a Catholic monk on the island of Quarr. Father Joe has been a mentor and a good friend to Tony Hendra. Tony desired early in life to join the Benedictine monks at Quarr but got sidetracked by life in the normal life of living. Nonetheless, Father Joe is a trusted friend throughout his whole life.

Canonization to Sainthood in August, 2025, Pier Giorgio Frassati represents a different kind of saint from the usual. He was not a priest or member of a religious order. He was a young layman whose prominent desire was to help the poor and needy in his hometown of Turin, Italy. He loved sports, loved to do pranks on his friends, was very creative both in education and his love for Latin and Dante, opera, theater and art museums. He desired to always be close to his group of friends especially in a spiritual relationship.
